The obverse die was cut in 1865. The reverse die in 1864. Both dies were destroyed and there are no known restrikes or mules.

I am only aware of four auction records since 1989 and they all involved the example pictured, which is the Rulau plate example formerly owned by Steve Tannenbaum and currently in my collection.
