Lyre player

Silvered bronze medal ("bronze" and cornucopia struck on edge) ø 5 cm. obverse with woman lyre player and signature L. O. Mattei in player's robe, reverse with singer and musical instruments (violin, horn) and central cartridge showing the arms of Laon and inscribed "Ville de Laon - 5 & 6 juin 1927". A similar medal offered on a commercial site has "Cluny (S-et-L) - 15-16 Août 1925" in the cartridge. Medal apparently for participation in a musical competition (probable reference to the one in Cluny can be seen at http://www.cefedem-rhonealpes.org/sites/default/files/ressources/memoires/memoires%201999/lhoumeau/lhoumeau.pdf).
