Mule JAB M/E-16 LOVETT'S WASHINGTON BUST / LIBERTY CAP Copper

28mm - Unknown number struck in Copper by Mason or Edwards
The Washington die was cut by George H. Lovett and first used to strike Baker-194. It is currently unaccounted for. The Liberty Cap die was cut by Bolen in 1862. It was sold to Mason, then to Edwards, and is currently in the ANS collection.
Two examples were sold in the November 2017 Stacks auction. The first was graded NGC-64 and realized $990, lot 261. The second was graded NGC-63 and sold for $504, lot 262.
