Mule JAB M/E-03 ARSERNAL WITHOUT SUN / YOUNG AMERICA - Brass
28mm - None were struck by Bolen. An unknown number struck in Brass by Mason or Edwards.

The dies were cut in 1862. They were sold to Mason to Edwards and eventually made it to the ANS collection, where they currently reside.

The piece pictured was purchased in the January 2011 Stacks sale of the Q. David Bowers collection. It is the only example I have ever seen offered for public sale, although there is another Brass example in the Massachusetts Historical Society Collection.
