JAB-06 AVOID THE EXTREMES OF PARTY SPIRT Tin
28mm Possibly Unique
Dies Engraved in 1862

Bolen claims the dies were destroyed after use. There are no known mules, so this claim is believed to be true. Bolen's records do not note any examples having been struck in Tin. However, Haseltine sold an example in his 1/26/1882 auction. Musante states: "More than likely, there is a very rare tin striking floating around out there, and this is yet another example of Bolen's lax and inaccurate record keeping." This example is proof that there is at least one tin example "floating around". The piece pictured was part of a small collection acquired from Alan Weinberg in 1993.
