Mule JAB M/E-10 BOLEN/LIBERTY CAP Copper 28mm - Unknown number struck This mule consists of the reverse of JAB-5 combined with the reverse of JAB-9. Both dies were cut in 1862. They were sold to Mason, to Edwards, to Cogan, and currently reside in the ANS collection. The piece pictured failed to reach the $1400 reserve in the Sept. 2013 Stacks sale. It was incorrectly attributed as a JAB-09 piece in the auction catalog. It also failed to sell in a number of Dave Bowers Fixed Price Lists. It eventually sold in a June 2017 Stacks auction for $2585, lot 9094.
