Bronze medal ("bronze" struck on edge) Ø 7.3 cm, obverse with "1899 mai 1949", laureated female head and view of the Palais de la Monnaie, "atelier de gravure" inscribed at the foot of the neck of the figure, no other signature. Reverse bears the legend "Cinquantenaire du Syndicat des Ouvriers des Monnaies et Médailles", also "CGT" (Confédération Générale du Travail) and "FSM" (Fédération syndicale mondiale), with medal press. Another medal was struck on the 80th anniversary.
