JAB-11 Washington's Letter to Hamilton Medal Copper
59mm - 10 to 14 Struck in Copper

This is Bolen's largest Medal. The dies were cut in 1864. They were sold to Frank S. Edwards in 1865, but are believed to have been ruined by rust before any restrikes were made. The auction record would back up the fact that there are probably 14 or fewer Copper pieces in existence.

An NGC-64 example sold in an April 2021 Heritage sale for $4800.
