MONTANE Roger : La Mer. - 70 mm. MONTANe Roger : La Mer. - 70 mm. The medal is made by Roger Montané a French painter well known for his marines and Mediterranean landscapes. He was born in 1916 in Bordeaux. After the war he went to live in Paris as a painter. Travelled to Austria, Venice and Prague. First exhibition in 1949. Exhibited between 1952 and 1966 successfully in the Adam's Gallery in London. Retrospective exhibition in 1984 in yje Goya Museum in Castres.
